Salem Methodist Preschool utilizes two communication platforms in addition to our social media pages. The Remind app is a powerful communication tool that admin uses to send parents reminders about upcoming events, tuition or school closings due to inclement weather

You will park in the south lot (along Russell St.) and walk your child to their classroom through the preschool entrance between 8:45-9 am each day. Pick up will be at this same location at 11:30 am.  When picking up your child at 11:30, please arrive through the Preschool entrance (along Russell St.) and head straight to your child’s specific classroom. Our Four’s and Junior Kindergarten classrooms will need to be picked up on the playground, which is located on the west side of the building.

Yes, each child that attends Salem Methodist Preschool is required to have an annual physical examination from their pediatrician at least 6 months prior to the start of school.

A vision and hearing screening technician, certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) will screen your child at our preschool facility. This is a requirement for all children ages 3 and up.

We will also need  a copy of your child’s birth certificate, health/Immunization record and the lead risk assessment questionnaire filled out
