• Designed for children who are five years of age and turning five in the fall/early winter of 2010.
• Class runs from 9:00-11:30 AM Monday - Friday or 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday.
• Each classroom has 16-20 children with two to three teachers.
• Our objective is that each child will be able to accomplish the following
  tasks during the course of the year:
  • follow two or three step directions
  • work together in cooperative play ( three or more children )
  • use self control
  • develop responsibility
  • use eye contact
  • converse with teachers and classmates
  • listen to stories and songs
  • repeat parts of songs, rhymes & finger plays
  • dress self for outdoor play
• Pre-kindergarten skills are integrated into the above activities:
  • use of scissors
  • pre-math skills
  • pre-reading skills
  • listening skills
  • self expression
  • name, number, and letter recognition are integrated into the above activities
• As with all of our classes, we stress the importance of learning and practicing social skills.
