• Designed for children who are three years old by September 1, 2010.
• All students MUST be potty trained by the time school begins.
• Three different class schedules are offered:
  • Mon/Wed/Fri AM from 9:00-11:30 AM
  • Mon/Wed/Fri PM from 12:30-3:00 PM
  • Tues/Thurs from 9:00-11:30 AM
• Each classroom has 16-17 children with two teachers.
• Our objective is that each child will be able to accomplish the following tasks during the course of the year:
  • follow one or two step directions
  • work together - gearing toward cooperative play ( three or more children )
  • listen to stories and songs
  • repeat parts of songs, rhymes, and finger plays
  • sit in a group
  • use eye contact
  • use words to express feelings to teachers and classmates
  • share
  • dress self for outdoor play
• We introduce the child to the proper way of holding a pencil, crayons, paint brush, scissors and other tools.
• We do not expect mastery, but we do encourage the proper handling of these tools.
• As with all of our classes, we stress the importance of learning and practicing social skills.
